Although our primary focus remains in the ATE Industry, we have expanded into other technology areas, including the replacement of older technology (legacy) systems with new, state-of-the-art PC-based platforms.

Product Specialist
We have an opening for an experienced Product Specialist skilled in the sales, service, and support of legacy minicomputer systems, to include HP1000, PDP11, and VAX systems.
Our current legacy systems product offerings have expanded and we are in need of a Product Specialist to install and support these products.
Excellent communications and computer skills are required, in-depth knowledge of the older Operating Systems such as RTE, RSX11, and VAX/VMS is required. Software and/or programming knowledge is helpful. Must be knowledgeable with Windows 2000/XP.
Customer support and/or technical sales experience is required. ASEE or BSEE is preferred but not required. Some travel required.

Automatic Test Equipment
Automatic Test Equipment (ATE) is a computer-controlled method of testing circuit boards and semiconductors for defects throughout the manufacturing process. This ensures that the end product, for example a cell phone or computer, functions correctly. Electronics manufacturers use automatic test equipment because it saves them money. The costs of a malfunctioning product are much greater than the costs of testing a product before it is sold.

Legacy Computer Systems
Legacy Systems: Term given to outdated computer systems still in use.
Many of today’s computer systems, used in applications ranging from corporate accounting to air traffic control, were created decades ago, and over the years were patched and fine-tuned to perform their jobs. Now they seem too slow, unreliable and inflexible for handling new, more diverse and demanding tasks. Unfortunately, the functions of these systems are very difficult to understand, and their replacement with new and efficient designs seems virtually impossible.
